Trump is an example of the proposition that in a large enough population tossing coins, someone is bound to roll 20 heads in a row, and conclude that they have magical powers. Thousands of opportunist crooks like Trump have followed his path until their luck ran out, and ended up broke or in prison. Trump is the one who has been lucky every time.
trump is merely riding a wave that is the barely suppressed fascism of Americans. It ebbs and flows. See:Project 2025, that’s how to foretell the immediate future.
The best news from this actual freedom living American is last week’s trifecta.
Two states elected sane judges to their supreme courts, Wisconsin and North Carolina. Slashing gerrymandered district will eliminate 3-7 House Republicans, essentially giving Democrats a small majority. The third good bit of news was all three of trump’s Supreme Court justices voted to make him obey lower court rulings.
It’s still all about that rotten Supreme Court of ours.
It’s hard for me to think the Opus Dei members on SCOTUS are going to save us but it’s possible.
How it will end is a huge question. I posted after watching Dr. Natasha Ezrow’s excellent 2014 presentation on “How dictators fall” in which she explains why over 50% of personalist dictators are forced out, normally by their inner circle.
As a result of being surrounded by sycophants, the dictator becomes “even more narcissistic and delusional than they may already be... So because they can't separate from themselves from the state, they have a very difficult time stepping down." A personalist dictator is not going to step down especially if he thinks he's going to spend the rest of his life in jail.
Dr Ezzrow noted that under 10% have gone after non-violent protests. If, as is most likely, Trump has to be forced out, will it be done legally through impeachment or extra-legally via a coup orchestrated by disenchanted followers that may or may not be marked by violence?
Of course, it's always possible an act of God will remove him first. And, thinking of even more nightmarish scenarios, Putin might decide to replace him by someone more competent. Anybody got a crystal ball in good working order?

Just keep,in mind, 67% of US registered voters did not vote for Trump. MAGA is not as strong as people think.
