I use ChatGPT myself, and stay away from Google Gemini for some bad responses regarding corporate ownership of my own thoughts and problem solving methods.

This discussion with Chat GPT is rather amazing. People tend to dismiss what Chat GPT is capable of. I use it a lot to solve simple programming problems, like how to do something in bash or C++. It's advice has always been spot on. I only pose general questions and then use the examples shown to help me with my specific use case. If I'm working on math, I don't use Chat GPT because I want to keep my brain sharp!

Regarding the subject matter of deliberative democracy, as Juniper would say, I think you are on the right track! Maybe we could implement this here in Minnesota.

Yeah I got to try a bit more the other alternatives AIs. Done a bunch of copilot with VS Code. I really think the trick with AI is to get into the habit of thinking you have a conversation partner that is a bit stupid about some things but knows a lot. Together you figure out things. Many think of them as sort of slaves to do the whole job for them. As a subordinate. But I think that leads you astray. It is better to think of AI (as it exists today) as a conversation partner to help you home in on the right solution.

I used it a lot in coding but it is an iterative process. You need to look at what it produces, give follow up questions and suggestions.

Minnesota eh? Lived right on the border in Grand Forks, som 20 years ago. Visited the Twin cities a couple of times. Many things about the landscape reminding me of Norway. The lakes, hills and forests.

Remember all the Scandinavian inspired stuff like the Lene and Ola jokes (amusing), stickers with "Nørge" (I hate those) etc. It was a mix of pride, amusement and horror. Hehe. Like it was cool to see we lived on there in a way. But it was also kind of funny how Scandinavian identity and culture gets presented. A lot of it is akin to a time capsule from a Scandinavia that existed long long time ago.
